Stretch and Tone - 6.30pm Tuesday

  • Stretch and tone is a class aimed to expand the amount of range of motion that can be controlled in all of the body’s joints. It requires more than a few haphazard active stretches or static stretching to improve mobility. S&T is a specialised form of strength training, it requires a concerted effort to adapt the nervous system and bodily tissues to be strong in bigger ranges of motion.

Metabolic Conditioning- 6.30pm Friday

  • Metabolic conditioning refers to conditioning exercises that are intended to increase the storage and delivery of energy for any activity. Most people think of aerobic training to be the primary catalyst when trying to improve endurance, condition the cardiovascular system or to improve transport of blood to the working muscles. But metabolic conditioning goes a step further, conditioning the muscles to better use the fuel delivered to them by improving the efficiency for the different metabolic pathways.

THERE’S NO BETTER WAY TO SOCIALISE THAN JOINING OTHERS TO EXERCISE!
